Three Greece residents have pleaded guilty to federal charges in a million-dollar retail theft scheme.
Prosecutors say 40-year-old Amanda Reeves and 20-year-old Chad Lewis Junior stole about 38,000 items from local stores, then sold the goods to pawnshop manager James Civiletti.
The 34-year-old Civiletti then marked up the items for sale on eBay.
In all, nearly $1.2 million was stolen from area retailers from 2021 through last October.
Reeves and Lewis are facing up to 20 years in prison each, while Civiletti could get up to 5 years.
