Rochester Police say a family dispute in North Marketview Heights led to one man being taken to the hospital.
Police say they found a 29 year old victim with severe cuts to his face and head on Clifford Avenue near Ferncliff Street, after what they believe was an argument with a 17-year-old family member who used a sword on him.
The 17-year-old was taken into custody.
The victim is expected to survive.
