A Monroe County Jury has convicted two Rochester men of attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon for shooting a man on the day after Christmas two years ago.
38-year-old Shavar Brooks and 26-year-old Miguel Clemons were both charged after shooting a 46-year-old man who was found inside his car on North Goodman Street.
The victim was brought to the hospital and survived.
An investigation identified Brooks and Clemons as the shooters.
Police say they spotted the victim driving by their house.
They jumped into a car, boxed the victim against the side of the road and fired ten shots at him.
Two of the shots hit, in what District Attorney Sandra Doorley called a "senseless shooting."
Brooks and Clemons will be sentenced on March 5th.
