A former employee of the Michael's store in Greece has been charged with identify theft after she allegedly stole credit cards left behind by customers last year.
Greece police say they charged 44-year-old Michelle Fiorino of Hamlin with identify theft first and second, and grand larceny first and second.
They say Fiorino charged some eight thousand dollars in merchandise and gift cards on the stolen cards.
An investigation was begun after store officials became suspicious.
Police are looking to identify any other possible victims.
