A three-time convicted felon has been convicted in a deadly Rochester shooting.
A Monroe County jury found 36-year-old David Porter guilty on all counts, including first-degree murder, in the shooting of cab driver David Treese III during an April robbery on Bay Street.
Treese was shot at least five times, stumbled out of the cab and died on a sidewalk.
Porter allegedly drove off in the cab.
The defense said Porter was on drugs.
At the time of the shooting, Porter was wanted for criminal obstruction of breathing in a separate crime.
Porter is scheduled to be sentenced in the murder case February 14th.
