UPDATE: Man Charged with Manslaughter in Fatal 490 Crash

UPDATE: A 25-year-old driver was charged over the weekend with two counts of manslaughter in the Friday crash on I-490 that left two people dead.

Christopher Long Jr. of Rochester was arrested Friday after he fought with State Police at the accident scene.

His car went off the expressway at the Culver Road exit, rolled multiple times, then hit a pole and landed in the Culver Road Armory parking lot.

Killed were 18-yeear-old Skylar Swift and 23-year-old Aleci Lopez of Rochester.

A third person is being treated for lesser injuries.

Troopers say 2 people are dead, after a serious crash this morning on eastbound 490 at Culver Road.

The driver is in custody, and one victim has been taken to the hospital.

A car ended up overturned in the parking lot of the Culver Road Armory.

Nearby roads are expected to be closed for several hours for the investigation.
