UR Medicine hospitals are taking action to conserve IV fluids.
They'll pause some elective and semi-elective surgical procedures, effective tomorrow, citing the effects of Hurricane Helene.
Officials say they're already using those fluids as efficiently as possible, but they're still using more than what is coming in.
Patients will be contacted if their procedures need to be postponed.
