A Hopewell man imprisoned for a 1995 fire that killed his three children is now out on parole.

Mark Mastin was convicted of murder, arson, and manslaughter.

Prosecutors say he was mad at his wife when he intentionally set the fire at his home by tossing a cigarette into some papers.

His children were 6, 5, and 3.

His wife survived the fire.

Mastin was sentenced to 25 years to life, and was first up for parole in 2020.

He claimed he was coerced into confessing to the crime.
