Man Wounded in Shooting on Rochester's West Side

A Rochester man is recovering, after a shooting on the city's west side.

Police say the 33-year-old was hit by gunfire in the lower body just before 3:30 yesterday on Orange Street, near Saxton Street.

He was rushed to Strong Hospital, but is expected to survive.

Investigators say a known suspect shot the victim after an altercation.

No one has been arrested yet.
