Killer's Girlfriend Admits Lying to FBI in Drexel Murder Probe

The girlfriend of the man who killed Chili teenager Brittanee Drexel in 2009 has admitted lying to the FBI during the investigation.

Angel Vause pleaded guilty this morning in federal court in South Carolina to three counts of making a false statement to federal agents.

Her bond was revoked, and she now faces up to 24 years in prison.

The allegations involved the investigation of Raymond Moody in 2022.

He later confessed to Drexel's rape and murder.

Vause was indicted in March and decided to accept the plea deal after rejecting it last month.

Moody is serving a life sentence.
