Rochester police say a search for a gunman came up empty after two 19-year-olds were shot on the city's west side.
It happened before 10 last night near Atkinson and Van Auker streets.
Officers in the area heard the shots and saw a possible suspect running from the area.
A search with a dog and state police helicopter did not find that person.
The victims are a man and a woman, and they are recovering at Strong.
