Girlfriend of Drexel's Killer Rejects Plea Deal

The girlfriend of the man who killed Chili teenager Brittanee Drexel in 2009 is turning down a plea deal for allegedly lying to authorities.

Angel Vause was reportedly set to accept a plea deal in federal court today, but changed her mind and entered not guilty pleas.

She is accused of lying to investigators in 2022 as authorities focused on her boyfriend Raymond Moody -- who later confessed to Drexel's rape and murder and revealed where he hid her body.

Vause was to have faced up to 16 years in prison as part of the plea deal.

There's no word yet on a trial date.
