A federal appeals court has rejected the appeal of former Rochester Housing Authority chair George Moses.
Moses was convicted on 28 fraud-related charges in November 2021, and was sentenced a year later to 6-and-a-half years in prison.
Prosecutors say he used money intended for low-income housing for personal use, including for a car, several vacations, and personal credit card payments.
Moses' defense team, had argued the judge gave improper jury instructions, and his sentence was unreasonable.
