UPDATE: 2 Dead in Shooting at Maplewood Park

UPDATE: Two people are now confirmed dead in yesterday's mass shooting during a barbeque at Maplewood Park.

The victims are identified as 25-year-old Tyasia Manning and 34-year-old Phylicia Council.

Five others were taken to hospitals, but are expected to survive.

Rochester Police Chief David Smith says they're hoping for help in finding the shooters.

Mayor Malik Evans says people need to resolve disputes without resorting to gunfire.

Dozens of gunshots are heard on video circulating on social media.

The shooting came at the end of a weekend of shootings and stabbings in the city that left four people dead and many more injured.

There are no arrests.

It happened shortly after 6 this evening.

Rochester police say a person in his 20s was killed, and at least 6 others have been wounded and taken to the hospital.

One of the victims has life-threatening injuries.
