A Monroe County man found guilty of sexually abusing a child will serve 18 years to life in prison.
38-year-old Desmond O’Neill was convicted in June of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child and child endangerment.
Prosecutors say O'Neill abused a child known to him in Chili between 2017 and 2020.
He also was accused of endangering a separate victim.
