Police in Greece have now confirmed they're searching for a weapon and other items stolen from a SWAT officer's vehicle.
A law enforcement source tells Bob Lonsberry the items were taken recently from the officer's vehicle while it was parked outside the LA Fitness Esporta on West Ridge Road.
The stolen items include an AR-style assault rifle, loaded high-capacity magazines, and body armor.
Anyone with information on the theft should call 911.
