Man Dies in Rialto St. Shooting, Charges Filed

The man shot on city's north side early Wednesday has died from his wounds.

Police say 24-year-old Aaron Hurell was hit in the head inside the home he was visiting on Rialto Street, near Hollenbeck Street.

He died at the hospital Saturday.

25-year-old Marquell Miller was allegedly carrying a rifle inside the home, when he accidentally pulled the trigger -- firing the fatal shot.

MIller is charged with 2nd-degree manslaughter and will be arraigned in City Court tomorrow morning.

The shooting happened at the same address where a man and a woman were killed on the porch in a triple shooting in May.

Hurell is the 24th homicide victim in Rochester so far this year.
