PAB: Rochester Police Inconsistent with Discipline

Rochester's Police Accountability Board says the Rochester Police Department is inconsistent when it comes to discipline.

In a 30-page report, the PAB says sustained findings of police misconduct have plunged from 39 in 2019 to zero last year.

The report also says the department is not consistently uploading discipline files to the Police Discipline Database.

The PAB also says discipline is inconsistent with current policies and procedures, and several of those policies have not been updated.
