Rochester Man Wounded in Southwest Side Shooting

A Rochester man is recovering, after he was hit by stray bullets on the city's southwest side.

Police say the 22-year-old was walking near Epworth Street shortly after 2:15, when he took one round in the lower body and one in the upper body.

He was taken to Strong Hospital and is expected to survive.

911 callers say two groups of men were shooting at each other nearby on Frost Avenue at the time.

There are no arrests.
