Man Sentenced in Fatal East End Bar Shooting

The man convicted in a deadly shooting at an East End bar will serve 25 years to life in prison.

37-year-old Randy Burney was convicted of 2nd-degree murder, assault, and a gun crime last month.

Prosecutors say Burney shot and killed 41-year-old Kimanhi Hinds and wounded a security guard at the Flour City Station bar in May of last year.

Police say the shooting came after a fight between Hinds and a woman.
