The Rochester man who crashed a car into a west side house, and the man who fired shots at him from that house, are both facing charges.
Troopers say 44-year-old Cephus Grimes fled from them on Child Street in a stolen car, before slamming his car into a home on Danforth Street at around 1:30 this morning.
He's facing unauthorized use of a vehicle and unlicensed driving.
No one was hurt, and police don't believe Grimes was drunk or high at the time.
Meantime, 24-year-old Robert Davis is charged with reckless endangerment and a gun crime, as police say they found an illegal 9mm handgun on him after the crash.
