A Rochester man who took a plea deal in a deadly drive-by shooting will serve 18 years to life in prison.
Prosecutors say 27-year-old Teodoro Rivera Junior killed Sayyos Rios at North Union and Weld streets last July.
Police say Rivera was driving through the neighborhood in a stolen car and fired at a man standing outside Rios' house.
Rios was on the porch and was hit by a stray bullet, and another man was wounded.
He pleaded guilty to 2nd-degree murder and a gun crime in March.
