The man who admitted guilt in a fatal hit-and-run in Rochester's East End will serve 4 to 12 years in prison.
24-year-old Nicholas Caretta pleaded guilty earlier this month to manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
Prosecutors say he hit Josiah Porchea with his vehicle at East Main and Richmond Streets in April of last year, then sped away.
