A Rochester man indicted in a July homicide at a boarding house has taken a plea deal.
Police say 31-year-old Kelvin Dukes killed Constance Henry by stabbing her several times at the house on Whitney Street.
Henry had come to the aid of a woman who had a protective order against Dukes.
Dukes orignally faced 2nd-degree murder and contempt charges.
Dukes previously served 9 years in prison for a criminal sex act conviction, and is a Level 3 sex offender.
He'll be sentenced May 21st.
