Rochester firefighters say a city duplex is a total loss from a two-alarm fire late last night.
It was reported around 11 p.m. on Copeland Street, off Webster Avenue.
Flames were visible from windows on the first and second floors.
The heavy fire and furniture in the doors forced crews to switch to a defensive attack.
The fire department is still working to contact the property owners.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
