Dr. Carmine Peluso
Rochester City School Superintendent Carmine Peluso is making a lateral career move to the suburbs,
He has been named superintendent for the Churchville-Chili Central School District, effective July 1.
The current superintendent, Lori Orologio, is retiring.
Prior to taking over in Rochester 16 months ago, Peluso was the city's Deputy Superintendent of Operations and Administration.
He's also a former principal in East Rochester and a former assistant principal in Churchville-Chili and Pittsford.
