Rochester police have named the man and a woman arrested after a fight involving gunfire.
It happened around 1:30 yesterday morning on Van Auker Street, on the city's southwest side.
32-year-old Jose Alvarado and 29-year-old Jahaira Vazquez-Torres are each facing gun crimes.
Officers checking on a report of a suspicious person found a crowd fighting.
That's when they heard one gunshot.
Alvarado and Vazquez-Torres were nabbed running away from the scene.
Police recovered a loaded handgun.
