A Rochester man found guilty in a November 2022 homicide will serve 25 years to life in prison.
36-year-old Jorge Andres Santana-Torres was convicted last month of 2nd-degree murder and 2 gun crimes.
Prosecutors say he gunned down 35-year-old Alexis Mercedes during a party at a house on Lochner Place, off Portland Avenue.
Santana-Torres then fled the area, but was arrested last May in Ohio.
