UPDATE: Body in Highland Park Reservoir May Have Been There 3 Weeks

UPDATE 3/20: The man's body found yesterday in the Highland Park Reservior may have been there more than three weeks.

A source tells Bob Lonsberry there is video showing the man there February 24.

Rochester police don't believe he committed suicide.

Meantime, Mayor Malik Evans says we may know late today whether the boil water advisory will be extended for parts of the city.

The City was told by the EPA to cover the reservoir by 2009 but was given an extension until this year.

UPDATE: The City of Rochester has issued a Boil Water Advisory for everyone served by the Highland Park Reservoir.

Rochester police are trying to determine how a person ended up dead in the Highland Park Reservoir.

The body was spotted around 8 a.m., and police divers were brought in to recover it.

The City water bureau has bypassed the reservoir, the drinking water has been tested, and there are no safety issues associated with the drinking water.
