UPDATE 2/27: Rochester police have made an arrest in a homicide last week on the southwest side.
34-year-old Kwame Acosta allegedly gunned down 27-year-old Davarcea Fort at a home on Farragut Street, near Prescott Street, late Thursday morning.
Another 27-year-old man was wounded but is expected to survive.
Police say some sort of fight led up to the shootings.
Acosta is charged with 2nd-degree murder, assault, and menacing.
UPDATE: Rochester police have identified the victim of a homicide on the city's southwest side.
27-year-old Davarcea Fort was dead at the scene at a home on Farragut Street, near Prescott Street, late Thursday morning.
Police say there was some sort of fight leading up to Fort's death.

Rochester police say one person is dead, and another injured, after an incident on the city's southwest side.
It happened shortly before noon at a home on Farragut Street, near Prescott Street.
One man was found dead with traumatic injuries to his upper body, though it's not clear what caused the injuries.
And another man was shot in the upper body.
He's at the hospital, but is expected to survive.
Police say there was some sort of altercation inside the home.
There are no arrests so far.
