Felonies Dismissed Against 3 Clyde-Savannah Football Players

A Wayne County Court judge has dismissed sexual abuse charges against three Clyde-Savannah High School football players accused of assaulting a teammate.

The three are accused of assaulting a 14-year-old boy in the locker room after practice last Halloween -- in an attack captured on cellphone video.

But the judge tossed out the aggravated sexual abuse charge against them, so now they face misdemeanors of hazing and forcible touching.

They'll be back in court on April 24th, with the court deciding on whether the case will remain in Youth Part Court, where proceedings are public.

A fourth teen was charged with unlawful surveillance, and his case was moved to Family Court.
