Report: DOJ Backs Sexual Harassment Claims Against Cuomo

Federal prosecutors are supporting the New York Attorney General's findings that former Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed a number of women and created a hostile work environment in the executive chamber.

A settlement between the U.S. Attorney's Office and Governor Kathy Hochul was announced today.

In it, the feds say Cuomo sexually harassed and then retaliated against former employees who accused him.

Attorneys for Cuomo deny the allegations and call the federal investigation politically motivated.

Federal prosecutors say the former governor subjected at least 13 female state employees to unwelcome, non-consensual sexual contact, ogling, unwelcome comments, and preferential treatment based on physical appearance.

The report makes no formal legal charges against Cuomo.
