Man Killed in Dansville Tractor-Trailer Crash Identified, Driver Charged

UPDATE: State police have released the name of the utility worker from Wyoming County who was killed while assisting a disabled tractor-trailer on 390 near Dansville.

Jason Marshall, of Portageville, was standing next to the big rig on the shoulder late Tuesday night, when the truck was sideswiped by another tractor-trailer.

He died at the scene.

A second utility worker was hurt.

The driver of the second semi, Marwan Bisharat of Ontario, Canada, is charged with vehicular manslaughter, and driving while impaired by drugs.

A source tells Bob Lonsberry Bisharat was under the influence of prescription medication.

Charges are being filed in a deadly tractor-trailer crash on northbound 390, near Exit 4, in Dansville.

It happened around 11:15 last night.

A source tells Bob Lonsberry that two men were outside a disabled tractor-trailer on the shoulder, when their rig was sideswiped by another tractor-trailer.

One of the men was killed and the other was seriously injured.

The source says the driver of the second rig was under the influence of prescription medication at the time and is being charged with vehicular manslaughter.
