AG: No Charges Against Officers in Fatal March Rochester Police Shooting

The officers who shot a man to death in Rochester back in March will not face charges.

The state Attorney General's Office probe into the death of Brendon Burns found that prosecutors would not be able to disprove the officers were justified in their actions.

Bodycam footage showed Burns pointing a shotgun at officers and ignoring commands to drop the weapon.

It then showed him reaching into a sack on the ground and pulling out the shotgun as police surround him...then raising the weapon against police orders.

Several officers then opened fire on Burns.

Burns was known to police and linked to a road rage shooting in Brighton a few days before his fatal encounter with police.
