"Serial Flasher" Accused of Exposing Self to Child at Store

A convicted sex offender already on parole is facing new charges for exposing himself to a child at a grocery store in Canandaigua.

Fifty-four-year-old Paul Goodrell is a serial flasher, and has a history of similar arrests spanning more than three decades in the Finger Lakes and the Rochester suburbs.

His latest arrest was last week.

Police say he also fondled himself in front of the child and tried to lure the child away from their guardians.

The charges include public lewdness and endangering a child.

Store surveillance video shows there were other victims.

And police also plan to charge him for intentionally damaging his parole ankle bracelet.
