A Rochester man has been convicted in a 2-year-old homicide.
33-year-old Whitney Morris was found guilty today of 2nd-degree murder.
Prosecutors say he shot 51-year-old Christopher Porchea to death during an attempted robbery at North Clinton Avenue and Norton Street in November 2021.
Morris was on parole for sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl at the time.
Morris will be sentenced in February.
