An Erie County man wil serve 9 to 18 years in prison for a fatal crash on the Thruway in Henrietta.
Prosecutors say 45-year-old William Shanahan of West Seneca was high on methamphetamine when he swerved all over the road and flipped his vehicle in August 2021.
33-year-old Dustin Jones was thrown from the SUV and killed, while another adult and two yound children survived.
Shanahan was convicted of multiple charges in October, including aggravated vehicular homicide.
