The man who killed a Rochester Police Officer has now had his sentencing postponed.
Kelvin Vickers was found guilty in August of all charges against him, including Aggravated Murder and Attempted Aggravated Murder.
The District Attorney's Office says federal prosecutors notified them of an unspecified issue that may impact the case, so a status conference is now set for February 16th.
Defense Attorney Michael Schiano says it has to do with a witness who was with Vickers on the porch, just before Vickers opened fire on two RPD officers.
He's not accusing the DA's office of any wrongdoing.
Prosecutors say Vickers shot Officer Tony Mazurkiewicz to death and wounded Officer Sino Seng in July of last year.
And he gunned down two rival drug dealers the night before.
Authorities say Vickers was brougth to Rochester from the Boston area to kill other dealers, as part of a turf war between illegal marijuana trafficking rings.
