The driver in a fatal hit-and-run on Rochester's east side -- has taken a plea deal.
38-year-old Master Bevel will serve 2 to 6 years in prison.
Prosecutors say Bevel struck 42-year-old Edgar SantaCruz at Park Avenue and South Goodman Street in December of last year.
SantaCruz and his dog were killed.
Bevel was charged with 2nd-degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
