Parolee Pleads Guilty in Norton St. Homicide

A Rochester parolee has taken a plea deal in a homicide from last November.

35-year-old Jerrod Dozier has pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter.

Police say Dozier shot 27-year-old Terry Howard Junior in an ambush-style killing on Norton Street.

Howard was in a car that was pulling into a driveway when he was shot -- an adult and two young children were not hurt.

Dozier had been released from prison the previous month on a drug conviction.

Dozier was originally charged with 1st- and 2nd-degree murder, and two gun crimes.

He'll be sentenced to 22 years in prison in January.
