A Canandaigua sex offender has pleaded guilty to a federal child pornography charge.
Prosecutors say they found illicit images on several devices in 41-year-old Brandon Hayward's apartment, during a search for weapons in November 2021.
Some of them were produced by Hayward himself, involving a 16-year-old.
Hayward faces at least 10 years in prison when he's sentenced in March.
He was convicted of sex abuse in 2000.
