Brothers Sentenced in Cases Stemming From RPD Officer's Killing

Two brothers have been sentenced to prison in separate cases stemming from the probe into the killing of Rochester Officer Tony Mazurkewicz.

Federal prosecutors say 41-year-old James Felton was stopped in September of last year with guns and restraints.

He was on his way to rob a rival drug dealer.

Meantime, 39-year-old Preston Fulton was caught hiding an illegal gun for marijuana trafficking ringleader Brandon Washington.

James Felton will serve 8-and-three-quarters years in prison, while Preston Fulton received a year and a half.

Authorities say Washington was the one who hired Kelvin Vickers to kill rival dealers.

Vickers was convicted of all the charges against him last month.

Federal charges against Washington are still pending.
