Seven people have been displaced, after a fire on Rochester's northeast side.
Firefighters were called out to battle a blaze shortly before 1 this afternoon at an apartment building on Portland Avenue, near Norton Street.
The fire was contained within about 20 minutes, and all 11 people inside were able to escape safely.
Crews were able to rescue 6 pets from inside.
There's no word on the cause of the fire.
