Rochester Man Indicted in Fatal Drive-By Shooting

A Monroe County grand jury has indicted a Rochester man in a deadly drive-by shooting.

Twenty-six-year-old Teodoro Rivera Junior is charged with murder, attempted assault, arson, evidence tampering, and gun crimes for the July 11th killing of Sayyos Rios at North Union and Weld streets.

Police say Rivera was driving through the neighborhood in a stolen car and fired at a man standing outside Rios' house.

Rios was on the porch and was hit by a stray bullet, and another man was wounded.

Police say Rios had no connection to the intended victim, or Rivera.
