A 40-year-old man is in critical condition following a shooting on Rochester's west side.
It happened after 6:30 last night on Whitney Street.
An officer in the next block heard the gunshots and found the man in the street. Police say the officer provided medical aid until the ambulance arrived.
Police have made no arrests.
