Paroled Rochester Murderer to Serve 24 Years for Federal Child Porn Charge

A Rochester man on parole for murder will now serve over 24 years in prison on federal child pornography charges.

Prosecutors say 48-year-old Israel Rivera-Reyes filmed himself repeatedly raping a 16-year-old between August 2021 and February of last year.

Illicit videos were found on Rivera-Reyes's cellphone, as well as that of the victim.

Rivera-Reyes was convicted of 2nd-degree murder in 1995, and was released on parole in 2006.

His parole was revoked 3 times, but he was paroled again in 2019.
