Rochester firefighters were called out to knock down a fire on the city's west side this morning.
It broke out shortly after 8 at a home on Murray Street, off Jay Street.
The fire was under control within about 10 minutes, and crews were able to rescue 6 pets from inside.
No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
