Rochester police have arrested six young people suspected of robbing two people downtown and making their getaway in a Hyundai that had been stolen earlier in the evening.
The victims were threatened with a hammer and robbed late last night near St. Paul and East Main streets.
Police spotted the getaway vehicle later and finally stopped it with spike strips on the city's southwest side.
The suspects range in age from 12 to 17.
