A convicted Rochester sex offender is facing a child pornography charge.
Prosecutors say 41-year-old Jeffrey Schwartz viewed child porn on a cellphone monitored by probation officers.
Schwartz was conviced on state charges back in 2009 for raping a child under the age of 17.
He also was convicted of a federal child porn production charge the following year.
The new charge carries a minimum of 10 years in prison.
