Rochester Police Seize Guns, Drugs From Unlicensed Bar

Rochester police say officers seized a loaded AR-15-style rifle and five loaded handguns after a weekend party at a city storefront.

Police went to 772 North Clinton Avenue late Friday night for a noise complaint.

The owner was cited for a noise violation.

Police returned three hours later for a report of gunfire.

No one was hurt, but a police search turned up the guns and drugs.

Investigators determined the store was operating as an unlicensed bar.

The City has issued a Gun Violence Emergency Closure order.
